2010 Show

Successful foaling 6th Feb 2010. Tested in foal for 2011 to Wheathead Bowes Lyon.

Old Croft Calypso-Bay filly foal with four white legs by Primrose Hill Eds out of the Champion mare Snelson Lady Marion.

LADY MARION WAS NAMED CHAMPION OF SOHAM SHOW 2010.

Lady Marion is one of our very best mares. Not only is she an outstanding show mare, having won many prizes, she is also proving to be a great broodmare and good mother to her foals. She is a very big filly, being jet black with four white legs. She has a great hindleg and height of hock, a huge foot and a well set tail. She is a good mover and from a long line of good breeding from the Snelson Stud.

Gorefield Joseph is a dark bay colt with four white legs and a blaze. He is a big deep bodied colt with a great hing leg, quality hair and bone and he is a very close mover. Two of his greatest assets are his great length of bone and his lovely amenable temperament. Joseph has some of the best bloodlines available in the breed today and we are looking forward to the 2010 season with this magnificent prospect.

Sunbeam is a lovely affectionate filly with great conformation, perfect bloodlines and a nice temperament. She encapsulates everything we aim to breed at OCS and we intend to keep her to show and breed with. She has some great feather, high hocks, nice joint, solid sound feet and she is a very close mover.
